My Story:  Wanting to follow in my father’s footsteps, I made up my mind early in life that I wanted to be in the insurance business. I had the privilege of witnessing the respect that he received from his customers as he helped them protect their families’ assets.

 

I began working in the Crawford Insurance office in 1973 when it was just me, my Dad, and one part time secretary. Since then, 40+ years later, it is still a rewarding vocation to be in a position to help people.

 

Over the years, our agency has been blessed to work with a quality customer base and to hire and train great people in our organization. It is especially thrilling to be working with my daughter. Lindsay has proven to be a natural in the industry and completely subscribes to the strong business principles and ethics that began with my father and will take us into the future.

My Story:  Growing up as a daughter of an insurance agent, I watched my father love his job and make many lasting relationships through this industry. I knew I wanted to grow up to be like him, highly respected in his community for his integrity and faith.

 

I began working at Crawford Insurance as a teenager and grew to be a customer service representative throughout high school and college. I also grew to appreciate the industry even more during my internship with Liberty Mutual Insurance. In May of 2011, I began working as a producer and a few months later, after moving to the Northern VA area, I established the VA branch of Crawford Insurance. In July of 2016, I moved back to Pittsburgh and now work out of our home office as well as travel to VA regularly to service my current customers. 

 

I love my job because I enjoy meeting new people and helping them overcome the risks of everyday life. My goal is to carry on the family tradition and legacy of Crawford Insurance from my father just as he did from my grandfather years ago.

When not selling insurance, I love to golf and cook. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two little kiddos.

My Story:  After graduating from Clemson University, I was excited about starting a career in business. I knew I wanted to be in an industry that created lasting and meaningful relationships with customers. I earned my real estate license but then reconnected with longtime family friend, Jim Crawford. After speaking with him more about the insurance business, I knew it was something I wanted to pursue.

 

I became a licensed producer with Crawford Insurance and also earned a designation as a Certified Personal Lines Specialist. As a Bluffton native, I've been so excited to launch our South Carolina branch. Taking advantage of all the knowledge the professionals at Crawford Insurance have, has quickly helped me transition into my career in insurance.

 

Being a producer is more rewarding than I could have imagined. I have always had a passion for helping people and being part of Crawford Insurance allows to me create lasting relationships while ensuring my clients receive the best coverage and protection.

 

In addition to caring for my clients, I enjoy everything about the South Carolina Lowcountry - golfing, boating, and spending time with friends and family.

My Story: I am a graduate of Presbyterian College where I played football and was quarterback and captain for the 2005 SAC Championship Football Team. My love for football led me to coach college football for 7 years and after getting married and seeking to settle down, I transitioned into insurance sales.  Shortly thereafter, I built and sold my own landscaping business which taught me a wealth of knowledge about business ownership and operations. I am thrilled to be a licensed insurance professional with Crawford Insurance and serving the growing communities of Bluffton, Beaufort and Hilton Head Island as a certified commercial lines specialist. I am fortunate and excited to be a part of the Crawford team, an agency with decades of experience and a long reputation for integrity and quality service.

What I love about insurance is the opportunity to create connections in my community and serve hard-working business owners, to ensure they have the protection they need to thrive in their business and ultimately provide for their families. In addition, I seek to assist homeowners with their property and casualty needs in the Lowcountry, an area that often has unique risks. I strive to provide the utmost quality customer service to every client, going above and beyond to ensure the client feels I am a member of their team, available to offer support and assistance whenever needed.

I live in Bluffton, South Carolina with my wife, Erica and our two daughters. I enjoy spending time with my family in our beautiful town of Bluffton, watching College football, and adventuring outdoors.

My Story:  My experience began in 1976 when I married into a family who was involved in ownership and management of rental properties. Through the years I have managed HUD properties, apartment buildings, and single family dwellings.

 

I started at Crawford Insurance in the Property Management position in April of 2011. It has been a rewarding position in the way of opening new avenues of property management. I enjoy working with the great staff at Crawford Insurance because of their willingness to help all of the clients with professionalism and great service.

 

When not working I enjoy entertaining, shopping for a bargain, and spending time with my family and friends.

My Story:  I have 30 years of experience in the Insurance Industry.  I started with Crawford Insurance March 1, 2018 as the Personal Lines Manager. My main focus is to manage, service, and market all renewal and new accounts at the agency. I review all accounts to make sure proper coverage is in place at the best pricing.

 

I am very involved in my local community. My involvement includes being appointed to the Board of Director for Plum EMS, Church activities, and volunteer work within the Community. Spending time with my family is very important to me.  I enjoy all sports and attending games with my family.

My Story:  Being part of the team at Crawford Insurance combines the aspects of work I enjoy most: organizing and analyzing numbers and working with a great group of people. After graduating from Penn State University, I held a senior position with a Pittsburgh-based research and consulting firm for almost 20 years. Leaving there, I began working here at Crawford in 2015 and have learned a great deal about the ever-changing insurance industry. In the future, I hope to contribute to the growth and success of the agency.

 

When not 'counting beans', I enjoy spending time with my family, being outside with my dogs, sporting events and live music.

My Story: I joined the Crawford Insurance team in August 2020 after spending 20 years at a Pittsburgh based university in a Facilities Manager & then Assistant Director role. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed the opportunity to develop relationships while helping others and am thrilled I can continue to do so while at Crawford.

I am a very proud “Baba” to my grandson and when not working, spend most of my time going on adventures with him and spending time with my husband and daughters.

My Story: I joined the Crawford Agency in November 2020 and am privileged to be part of a dedicated, loyal, friendly, hard-working and caring staff. 

I have been in the wonderful and rewarding insurance industry for thirty plus years.  I absolutely love helping my customers with their insurance needs and problems.

 

I grew up and continue to live in “the mountains” of Southwestern PA.  I live in the small town of Jones Mills with my husband Mark, son Shawn, and two very spoiled dachshunds.  We always say we are lucky they allow us to live with them! I am a proud Grandma to Gillian, Claire and Asher.  In my free time I love to entertain, have a passion for baking ,and enjoy a good book.

My Story: After graduating from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, I moved to Pittsburgh and began working in the insurance industry. In my early career, I worked for some of the largest agencies in the Pittsburgh area in a variety of roles including claims and risk management as well as account service and retention. In 2019 I completed my master’s degree in business administration at the University of Pittsburgh. I am proud of the work I do as an advocate and advisor for business owners in my local community. 

In my free time I enjoy the outdoors, strategy games, books about history and spending time with friends and family.
